Daffodil Ball 2005, the
annual event now in its 11th year, is enjoying continued success as
Melbourne's biggest and best youth oriented fundraising ball.
The event plays a major role in raising much needed funds for vital
cancer research and is organised by the Young People's Committee of The
Cancer Council Victoria.
Recently the committee members joined with friends, important guests,
and possible sponsorship supporters for the launch party. Held at one of
Melbourne's most exclusive bar/restaurants, The Trust, Flinders Lane,
Melbourne, the evening was a enjoyed by all and received a great deal of
media attention.
This year the highly anticipated evening will be held at The Forum,
Flinders Street, Melbourne on Saturday August 20. With great music,
great company and all for a great cause, the event is sure to be another
sell out. Tickets go on sale from July 25 and can be bought via the
